I am able to earn 20,000 ExP for each mob I kill but I am only getting 400k for the quest. About half of the 2M EXP I am gaining from the quest actually from killing the mobs. 200K/2M (10 percent) isn't even that evident. I have only lost 20M experience when I complete 100 quests, which is not more than 1/4 of the level required to go from 49 to 50.
The game is very playable up until late 30s early 40s. In the meantime there's the difference between blue gear and white gear. Since everyone is getting better and gearing up, you won't be able to tell the difference between the 10 stats that are available on an item.
Another aspect is that as of now, all of the current dungeons can realistically be completed in under an hour, which means if your (gold) loot drops you can actually get it, but longer dungeons which will follow in the future have you paying for the subscription if you are looking for "the most effective" gear.
Meeeeh I'm not sure if Aion isn't a game for the beginner it's extremely grindy and due to the fact that it's a standard game, players who know this game by heart already abuse every mechanism and system they can be far ahead of the rest that makes them extremely tough. And since it's an 80% pvp game it's not fun getting absolutely wrecked.
My mistake, I was saying "i don't have any knowledge about Aion Classic". I was in reference to its commercialization. Ive played the game in 2009 and again two years ago on a P server. I was trying to figure out if someone who pays 15EUR per month is more severely disadvantageed than someone who pays much more. In essence, how much P2Win does it?
I mean, at first sure. It's as simple to use as the initial P2W release, however instead of endlessly buying kinah from goldfarmers, you now buy it from NCSOFT. In other words, if you pay 15 and another person pays 500, yes they are bound to have full coin gear , and +15 with the most powerful manastones, etc. Everyone's still going to be playing with PvP gear however, according to your level and your performance, you could still succeed. Especially if you play with other players who are good.
There are p2w players. However, most of the whales in Aion are incredibly bad at being able to budget their money therefore they simply spend a lot and dont really achieve anything of value. Aion is different in the fact that you can't just invest much to gain. Spend smartly.
I don't agree. You have to be able grind to be competing against established players. But if all you want is to feel the thrill of advancement and have fun with other skilled players, then the current pve in NA classic is very good.
